RIP Billy... :(

Great fish! I saw a "Midas" at Petsmart just yesterday with mild blue pearling! It, and the other cichlids ALL had Hole in the Head though! :( It also appeared to be a female. But I'll be damned if I haven't been still thinking about it since then! :P

Let's see some more! I actually did a search for Petsmart fish yesterday on here!

sure... Billy committed suicide. worked on his lid long enough to eventually open the back somehow and slid the top forward slightly. just enough to jump out. found him on the floor dead the next morning... he was a very responsive fish, and we miss him very much.

That sucks to hear but it's kind of funny, the petsmart midas (flowerhorn) in my avatar did the same exact thing. Straight through the lid and onto the carpet.. Luckily I was asleep just a few feet away. I woke up thinking there was a raccoon in my room or something. The dumbass also managed to get himself caught in one of my decorations during a waterchange when he was a few months old. I had to bust open a $30 decoration for a $5 fish. But as you can see, it was worth it.

LOL!!! :screwy::grinno:

The first and last Petsmart fish I bought were 6 barbs. I SWEAR they were all retarded!:nilly::nilly::nilly: 3 were albinos and the all got killed almost immediately by my Shark.:eek: And the other 3 were tigers and the had fungus growing on them....... Never saw it until I had to remove them before they died.

After seeing some of the Midas results from there though I am tempted to buy one and see! :cry:
