Post ways you got your Payara off live foods

I'm having trouble with getting my Tat off live. He took shots of silversides for about 3 days, but never ate them. Since the shots it seems like he knows the smell/look of silversides and pays no mind. So I wanted to know some ways others got their Payara off live foods

I don't own a tat (yet), but I've heard of people using fishing line to make the fish fillets appear to be live fish. It's worth a shot. Starve it for a couple days too.

Since I bought him a month ago (estimate) I starved him. Once a every other week I give feeders. Nothing!
I have not tried the fishing line yet thou

A month! you have one picky tat!

tell me how it turns out. I got my northern pike off live w/ the fishing line method. Then I stuffed up the fillets with pellets so he knew the flavor and smell. Then, he actually started to eat pellets of the surface. I heard of people doing it with payara, but I'm not exactly sure if it works. (like I said before)
