I have a small 3'' one, but my 13'' syspilum keeps looking at him like dinner! lol
What size is yours and what size did he take on those spectacular markings/colours ?
he is 9 inches right now and he took on those colors at about 3 inches,seemed to really color up alot when i moved him out of my community tank and put him with my 13 inch pearsei.in my community he was super agressive but in his current tank he is very laid back(not sure if that has anything to do with the color)your should start coloring up pretty soon.

I love the veija, they are so beutiful, and tough enough to live with some of the nasties of central and south america, my Synspilum have lived with Red terrors, Green Terrors, FH's and Carpintis, and NEVER been pushed about!

i have never seen any with solid black belts. Lowcel your blackbelt is the reason i got mine back in may(he wasn't that big when you posted him before)i should have taken more growth pics he has grown superfast he was 2.5 maybe 3 inches when i got him in may of 2009,seemed to have a growth spurt for a few months then seemed to slow down recently.
