I got this guy from PetSolutions. He is supposed to be a Florida Longnose Gar. Lepisosteus osseus. Is he or is he Lepisosteus platyrhincus? That is what he looks like to me.

A lot of places tend to pass off Floridas as just about anything. My friend bought Shortnose and Longnose Gars only to find that they were all Floridas. Lucky that, at least moneywise, he wasn't scammed into paying higher.
