post your oldest tank

its not the glass thats the problem the silacon is only garanteed for 10yrs 15yrs if you are lucky

glass, never had a problem with the silicone either :)

some companies only guarantee there cars for 50000 miles
so the car is only good till 50000? :grinno:

just cus they say 10 doesnt make 10 the life span.

my gramps has been making tanks probably longer then everyone here has been alive,except oddball :ROFL:
and he says they should last forever if done right.

companies throw 10's and 55's together
but a true built talk is different.

most of the broke tanks on here have been from glass breaking that ive seen,not silicone.

so i guess my tank has beat the limit 3 times over :headbang2
now all the bad juju will get me :grinno:

and so after 10 years,15 max,everyone needs to trade in there tanks??? :ROFL::ROFL:
 
Got different fish and decor now, but the tank itself is from '88.
