hey everyone please post your perches and barramundis please. Because i am really getting into these fish and when i get a tank again i plan on getting some, but until then i would like to see how many members actually have some and pictures, please tell me there size, the species, and what they eat and how long youve had them if you can
Barramundi.. about 18" or so? Only had mine for a month.. it was picked up from Neoprodigy. Loves raw shrimp, can eat a handful probably more in one sitting every day. Only fish I know that will invert itself vertically to get peices he misses that fall the bottom.
Didn't try to eat any tank mates til I think the other day. Not sure what went on but saw him facing the top and looked like my 9" umbie struggling to get out of his mouth. Don't know if he was yawning and the umbie got sucked in, or if the umbie pissed him off via bullying and he decided to get rid of him. The umbie escaped though and has been moved. Other smaller tank mates 5-6" he's been fine with.
One of my favorite fish. Lots of personality and begs almost like an oscar.
