The unidentified catfish is a sailfin achara with a messed up fin (looks like a machete cut?!).

Nice fish, just keep in mind if you plan to release fish try not to hold it by the heart or gills (I assume older pics?)

I’ve definitely gotten more careful about handling over the years. Most of these fish were released; a couple were kept for food.
