Idk what im going to do with this two, they always fight when they see each other in the right corner. Smh
Might be time to seperate them for a while

funny how they are the only one that are finghting, its always the small one that starts it, the big one likes to cruise in the tank but when it goes next to the corner then the small on charge the bigger ornate, then the bigger ornate will fight back. But they dont bother the other polys. Ill keep an eye on them, if it keeps happening the small one will go with the LJ(joke)

Do Ornates generally have a higher conspecific aggression? Or are they just bee holes in general?

That's awesome. He really looks like a bumblebee grouper from that angle. I guess they kind of look like bumblebee groupers in general. Great fish, looking forward to owning one someday soon myself.

I currently have 3 fish on my must acquire list. #1 was the teugelsi. Here's #2:

4.5" and quite skinny. Currently in QT with a pair of rosy barbs and approx 2 dozen fry. The barbs were added to cycle the tank and ended up spawning, so the new ornate may end up with a few snacks as she settles in.
