Looking to get some thoughts on where to find the best backgrounds. Better to go with a solid black or blue or use some sort of design?

Setting up a new 75 and want to get some ideas, and links woud be great too if you know any good sites to purchase from. Thanks.

I've seen those around, I have two HOB filters are they a real ***** to cut and make work for filters and heaters?

not so much hard.

This is my 30gal.

how far out does the background protrude, and how did you get the intake tube to extend out past it? Thanks.

2'' at the highest point.

are you looking for a 3d background? for 4ft tanks and smaller i always use black poster board, and cut to size. easy to remove if you dont want it anymore.

i would go with a black background! it looks more natural

yea i think ive decided on goin with black backing. much cheaper than the 3d backgrounds and will put more focus on the aquascaping and fish.

posters is always good if u have a wall in the back or just want to color up your tank.. i know by 150 gallon looked alot better with a 6 ft long poster of water plants and driftwood..
