Nice poster and Beautifull illustrations, but you forgot several types of sunnies, the Blackspotted , the Northern Longear, the Eastern Dollar sunfish, the Mississipi embayment Longear, the Florida, Coppernose and Handpainted Bluegill; most of these would be hard to know about outside of the US.

how!! ok , i 'll try to find them, if you have some good pic, maybe i could use them and ad them to the poster

But most of them are subspecies : Coppernose and Handpainted Bluegill are subspecies of the Bluegill, but the color change a lot, so if i can find nice pic i will add them.
The Mississipi embayment Longearit's an subspecies of the longear like the northern longear, and look like pretty the same.

I can't find pic of blackspotted !

The eastern Dollar Sunfish it's an lepomis marginatus

those colors!!!! nive poster man! deffo using this as my background :)

Excellent looking poster, thanks for adding the Blackspotted to the lineup. Yes you are right Longear, Dollar, and Bluegill have some recognized subspecies that I had listed and there is a lot of controversy and not much research going on to sort out just how many subspecies there are and what there proper names should be; the Northern Longear sunfish however is a recongnized species Lepomis Peltastes, according to the Paleobiology Database and Fishbase, also the sunny that you have listed as "Diamond sunfish" is commonly called the "Banded sunfish" in most areas. Thank you for your hard work in making a sunfish poster with such very beautifull illustrations that I will definitely want to own .
