hey guys,

Ive noticed alot of people post a load of crap in forums just to up their post count.... why are youguys doing that? Its not a race....I came here to learn more about other species of fish and to be helped out when I have a question, but when I see threads with people asking questions....theres no answers, just stupid coments. Why?

Im trying to get my post count to 25,000! No offense guys, but im just saying, its really childish.

Everyone has their pet peeves. Most of the comments you may find "useless" make others feel more comfortable posting. A friendly community has more than just strict info, it has personality.

Good idea in theory but but some post vague responses not to offend, some post answers because they have a peice of info to share but no hardcore info, etc but I don't know anyone who is just after post count.

Besides, if you check out forums like DIY, we all put up comments (hopefully positive) to cheer on a member that accomplished something good or even great like the dude that made his own 50000g tank for his arapimas. Don't have to be all strict infos IMO.
