Okay, maybe I am a fish nerd, but I really get bored when I have a down day in the classroom, and no one posts enough in this area. I enjoy the banter. So this post will be about fish and the random ideas that people wanna talk about... or to keep me from attacking a student

my first question, I am getting a nice camera and I was wondering if there are settings that work best. Scenary, action, flash no flash... what ideas do people have...

When I take pics of my fish I try to do it with no flash but have the tank lights on for lighting and it seems to work =)

As for the thread I am gonna move it to the lounge b/c its no african based and I think you'll get more a response to your question there!

The best pictures don't come from preset camera settings. You're going to have to learn what's best for you in terms of shutter speed, exposure, aperture, you name it. I'm not photography buff, but I appreciate the artistry behind a good photograph.
