So I replied to a jag hybrid post and both my replies or deleted first reply was me saying how some people on this forum don't like hybrids and will let the op know

Second post that was deleted was me suggesting to breed a jag with an arrowana sure it's not possible but was a light hearted joke and would be a pretty cool fish

But I guess the mod felt my replies were over the top a lil too risky anyone else have this problem??

I am sure whoever did delete something did so in accordance with the rules.

It should say what rule I broke all it said for reason was post cleanup

Now don't get me wrong I have in the past said a few bad words or posted things that were out there and I completely understood why I was deleted but this?

I dont remember what one it was but I noticed one of mine get deleted without a message as to why. Dont get me wrong I may have violated tos but usually get when they delete posts(ok it doesnt happen THAT often but it has happened before)

I reported the issue in any case.

In any case, when a clean up is done, there is a purpose for it.mi have had several posts cleaned up throughout the years, also.

No hassle. And explaining a clean up post permpost is utterly exhausting, believe me. Whoever does it estimates that people understand the point

I looked into this. Your posts were deleted because, as you said, those comments were made in a joking manner. They were deleted when the thread was moved to the appropriate section in order to preserve the integrity of the information in the thread- a 'cleanup'. This is so that if people find this thread in the future and read it, they will have solid information and will be able to learn.

In the future, please take inquiries such as this to PMs. Discussion of administrative actions isn't supposed to be discussed in the open forum and, given the particular incident, may be infraction-able.

Closed.

Post cleanup means the post no longer pertained to the thread since it was moved to another forum. The aro post was of no help to the discussion and removed so the OP wouldn't think members were taking his question too lightly.

Read the TOS. It states the staff may edit/delete threads/posts as needed to maintain proper flow of the discussion.
