Pot Scrubbers?? Someone do me a favour??

I wanted to know in a 30 gallon wet dry filer full of bioballs where do the pot scrubbers go? And also i was wondering are they better than bioballs since i will probably have to take some bioballs and plastic bio rings out to make room for the pot scrubbers. Thanks alot didnt mean to derail this thread guys thanks again

Bio-balls have 130 cu/ft (per gallon) of surface area for bacteria to populate. Pot scrubbers have 370 cu/ft (per gallon) of surface area.
