Any information on this species? Collection Area? Importation records?

(these pics are from the ARRAIA book, yes)

Looks a bit like many of the Humerosa/Orbignyi/Dumerilli variants I have been seeing..

Also looks a bit like this un-identified Ray? Spotting on the tail is a bit different though..

Just looking for any and all info/insight.. Thanks guys.

hmm tis very nice orbigyna varient or kinda looks like that dumeril that was posted not too long ago..

I am at work and thus, without my books. However, I believe constellata can be distinguished by the presence of enlarge dermal denticles (spikes) on the rear 1/3 of the disc body.

colin is right the large denticles
i bought htis ray as a constellata buut i think she turned out to be a mossiac she was caught in peru

What species would you say Mosaic falls under? can I use this pic? :D
 
Awesome thanks.. i noticed 'mosaic' was attached to humerosa.. yay, got a reference photo for P46.. appreciate it. :D

Colin can you confirm the tail structure issue? I would like to note this difference.. anything else ? collection location?
