my friend tells me he treats his aro with Potassium Permanganate. a few times a year. anybody here tried this with their aro?


do you think it will the right treatment for this white fugus growing on my fish?

i think that's maybe too extreme. i would just use furazone green.
 
Should be okay since it's just another type of salt. If i remember correctly though, this stuff is a lot stronger than regular salt so its alot easier to overdose. I would just stick with regular softener salt or aquarium salt just to be on the safe side.
 
those pics i posted is a few weeks old. i've been adding salt, bi-weekly WC, cleaned the sump etc., the usual stuff. it helped but its not gone. i still see my fish stratching.

is furacin green safe for clown loach, geophagus, dats and plecos?
