potential flowerhorn?

i got him about 3weeks ago from LFS for 25USD.. so at least he is one month old now.. do you think he has a potential? at what age should i expect a significant size of kok out of him? how do i know if it is actually a he or she? lol

i feed him mainly ghost shrimp, ocassionaly crickets for treats.. just today i tried centipede and he liked it too..20170104_031309.png
 
This flowerhorn looks like its a female because of the black mark on her dorsal fin. I believe this is a female too. Please stop feeding her crickets and other insects as this will make her eventually get sick and possibly die. Feed a quality pellet like hikari which is available at most pet stores or online. I personally like Hikari Bio Gold Plus as a great every day food, especially for females.

i read it somewhere cricket is a good food for fh.. hmmm

how about this fw? is it a male or female? there is also a black mark on its drosal fin seems likely.. its lenght is about 4inch, the image is taken with samsung galaxy edge and no editing tho..

That one looks male to me and I don't see the blotch on dorsal fin
 
The flowerhorn in the first pic is a Female and second pic is a male(probably)...
