potential new additions to my 125

I'm having trouble trying to figure out what i want to put in my planted 125 tank with the dats, ctenopoma and apollo sharks i have listed below. I was interested in hujetas, exodons, firemouths, or any other predator that doesnt get to more than a foot in length.
 
electric blue dempseys are beautiful and fairly peacful
 
one of the factors in this is that i have a planted tank. I was worried that a cichlid would uproot my plants or dig in the gravel... the firemouth probably wont do these things.
 
on top of that, i am wondering if exodons can go in that tank and not rip stuff apart.
 
get a bichir.

firemouths will do this. I had a male in a 55 and he was a terror on gravel. Exodons can be somewhat mean also. they will pick the scales off of fish sometimes. Electrice blue dempseys are different than jacks they have a somewhat more mellow personality.
 
thanks for the advice, im gonna research electric blue dempseys to see if they will uproot plants or move gravel.
