Potential of this he/she?

What do you guys think on the potential of this fella? Got him at Petsmart on June 7th in the RT tank which i knew its a FH because of the red eyes and didn't mind paying 8.99 for it instead of 26.99. Thanks for your input in advance.

At 1.5 inches when i bought him/her.

The pearls was what caught my eye so I decided to pick it up. If its a female then I might breed it with my first petsmart RT to see how the fry turns out. If it is a male, I will be satisfy with it just having a sign of a kok.

Here is a picture of my first petsmart RT at 7-8". His kok didn't show until he was at 6".

Looks exactly like mine. I got mine at 1" though. Same listed in RT, but knew it was a flowerhorn. I initially started with freeze dried krill and blood worms, but just today after nearly 2 weeks I was able to get him to take NLS. Doing 1-2x a week 50-60% water changes.

I got him June 2nd at 1", and today he's about 2 1/4". I've seen a couple of these lately on this site, all coming from petsmart so they're rare but they're out there. Looking forward to how it ends up.

What are you feeding yours/how often? W/c schedule?
 
Isnt that a male classic kamfa?doesnt look like a red trxas to me lol .

Maybe they might be from the same batch since I did saw my guy a week before I bought him which is around 1-1.25". Who ever has one I would say they will turn out nice as they grow to adulthood. I am surprise that your fella didn't take pellets when you first got it, mine just takes Hikari gold mini pellets like nothing when I got him. WC will be 1x a week @ 50% and I feed them once a day except weekends then I feed them 2x a day. Twice a week I add freeze dried shrimp and once a week I add them frozen bloodworms. Glad to hear your guy was able to take NLS. Hikari gold pellets (mini and Large) are the normal staple food for my fishes, they like floating pellet as compare to the sinking ones. Keep my posted on updates to your guy.
