Hey I was wondering if someone could help identify this nice lookin guy, I have a 50 gal and was thinking about putting him in there with my Oscar. The Oscar is about 3 and a half inches long right now. I am upgrading to a 75 in a few months was wondering if keeping them together would be a bad idea. Having trouble figuring out the species 2E5785C2-DF04-4272-A8C9-1EF08E58D407.jpeg

Bad idea.
1) 75g is barely enough to handle the bioload of one adult oscar at 10", large water volume changes required
2) 2 large cichlids in 4 feet of space is way too small and will lead to fighting
3) that looks like a flowerhorn type, which is hyper aggressive so definitely there will be a lot of fighting

Short body flowerhorn, which right off the bat would thrive in different water parameters than an Oscar.
Also, as Rocksor Rocksor mentioned, flowerhorns do not play nice with other fish, so there would be a lot of fighting.
I’d leave the 75 to just the Oscar.
