Trout Island
I fed my rays early this morning and was gone all day. Its around 2am and I come home and I noticed that the female(6-7inch) looked like she just ate. Kinda bloated like she was stuffed. The male(5 inch) was fine and his stomach was normal. There's also these little white worms in the tank...but they look like they aren't moving nor are they coming from her or him. When she climbed the wall nothing on the underside. Am I just over-reacting or should I run something like a parasite-clear?

you feed them white worms, how do they like them? chick fish are a lot like real woman, they get bloated, watch out for the bleeding! giver a week! she should be ok, just give her space and leave her alone!

I think that might be exactly what it was. I put in some salt and raised the heat a few degrees and went to bed. I woke up this morning and it was fine...AND NO MORE WORMS?!!! I'm doing a 25% water change and rinsing the filters and not gonna kill myself over this crap anymore. Everytime there might be something wrong with the rays I panic. Damn these things...why do I want to keep them?

Everyone goes through it.

Rays are not that tough. Stick to the basics......warm water, religous water changes and lots of good food.

Don't complicate it. If you see something that you do not like, do a water change and add some salt.

Good luck,

Colin
