I have a 265 gallon which is filtered by 2 fx5’s and about 5 pothos which will be ramped up as time goes by. I love the look of flagtails and would like to add one to my new 265 to help control algae and also look great. I realize I am going to have to supplement feedings using pellets and vegetables to keep him healthy and growing. My pothos just dangle from the top held in by some light diffusers from home depot and I am worried about them being eaten. Have any of you successfully kept flagtails in a setup like this, I am afraid they may try to eat them which would be a no go for me. I am thinking about making an order in the next couple weeks from Rapps and may throw one of these in as well depending on what I hear from you guys. I have another tank with about 10 in it that showed tremendous improvement in growth of older fish so I am sold on the benefits and wouldn’t want a fish get in the way.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks sicksauce for the experience you had. They are pretty tough plants so I didn’t think it would be a problem. I was more worried about the root system hanging freely in the water which seems more delicate than the stems.
