Got that huge annoying Pothos vine that keeps overgrowing your kitchen? Why not size it down and help us out?

Thanks.

I've cut a few and put them in my ray tank. They grow well.

Know of a place that I could get some? :)

I see them (small planted ones) often in the floral section of grocery stores. Usually inexpensive.

Pothos is not an aquarium type plant. Why do you use it?

Because it doesn't need a lot of light, it's an opportunistic grower, and it just destroys bad water quality.

The vines grow on top of the tank, with the roots in the water.

Hi there.. You can find pothos almost everywhere.. grocery stores, home depot, lowes.. You can either take cuttings from a potted plant and stick the rooting stems only (not the part with leaves ) in your tank.. if the cuttings have no roots they will develop them.. You can even take the potted plant apart and wash off the dirt and use those rooted pieces.. It really looks nice draped over the sides of the tank and helps with the water quality. They need very little light to grow you just have to be patient as it can take a while for the roots to grow. hile I still use them in some of my tanks I have learned that sevs will reach up and munch the roots/stems so it won't work in their tanks. Discus, angelfish etc won't bother them at all at it looks great in their tanks, HTH Sue
