pothos

Hi everyone, i'm not a plant person for aquariums but i have kept plants in my tank without any problems.. i have keep my lucky bamboos in my sump for good 1-2 years when i setup my sump.. my sump is all covered with glass tops.. it's a standard 125 gallon tank which i made for my display tank... recently i acquired some pothos and i read their great for nitrate reducer.. can pothos be in a very high humid area????

I used to grow pothos in my old dart frog tanks. Very high humidity. Proivided it starts throwing aquatic roots it should do fine.

I did pothos a few months back in my sump. First week barely any roots grew then just like that it went crazy. I love it can notice a big difference with plants

Ya I believe that's the one... I remember reading it then trying pothos in the overflow of my 150. The roots went nuts. I didn't really notice much difference in terms of Nitrates, cause I was already running a 35 gal sump, Fluval 405 and 2 AC110's on the tank with weekly 50% w/cs. Single fahaka was only occupant.

was your sump all covered where the pothos stayed?? my sump setup was all covered with only very minimal opening for pipes to pass through and cords for the equipment pass.. so that's why i ask...
