Hay all quick questionS on Potomotygon Motoro.

What is the average disc length of a male Potomotygon Motoro compared to the female's disc length?

What is the total length of a male ray and a female ray (By this I mean from the tip of the "nose" to the tip of the tail)?

Is it ok to have one ray or another ray is needed?

Thanks for the help guys and girls because I'm think of purchasing one of these and I've been researching a lot. I chose this ray because I heard of the ease of care and there very hardy. I know how the females are larger but one site tells me one disc length and another site is different you know how it is never a straight answer. Also theres nothing on the internent about thier total length.

Average male is probably around 14-16 inches in an aquarium where females are probably 18-20 inches. At these sizes you can expect about a 12-15" tail added to the disk diameter.

also every ray is different, some stay small some get huge.

ive seen a full grown male motoro at 10" and he was about 5 or 6 yrs old.

ive also seen a full grown 20" male.
