Powder blue con

Ive been looking to see if i can exploit the blue hues in their skins/fins to eventually get a powder blue con out of the generations. Has any one done this?

I have heard of "electric Blue Cons" but they are probably just HRP or HRP x Con hybrid.

My Male HRP bred with my femal Con and I have a few fry I will grow out. They are hybrids though so I cant sell them.

Only 1/2" and not much blue yet.

thats awesome! however i was thinking pure con. The image in my head is like a con with the color of one of them blue Jd's.

How about picking up a pair of pure hrp's? Probably your best bet of getting what you're looking for. You will not get a con with ebjd-like con by breeding cons, barring some incredible mutation in the coloring.

yea that is a good idea and i have been looking for larget HRP but i want a pure con. just try to get the bluest of the batch and keep breeding until eventually i end up with a nice blue convict.

Well of course you "can". But introducing Hybrids to the public is a very bad idea. We should all try to keep the bloodlines as pure as possible.
