Ok the jag tank is a 100 gallon with An ac110 and 2 large sponge filters. It does fine but in the middle in the tank it settles a bit with leftover food and poo. I have been doing spot cleanings but it is getting old. I wanted to add another sponge but don't have an extra air outlet without cutting the power on one with a valve. So I guess I need something. Will the current mess with the jag. I plan on only keeping it on when needed

if you need more filtration a powerhead will do both those jobs ... but i would prefer a wave maker -> hydor koralia 750. some fish do like the extra current. so you'll be fine

haha i got petsolutions on other tab looking at them, wont that be over kill, heck i was thinking nano 450, but i guess it would be fine, id only turn in on when it needed it .

i have mines on a timer to turn on once a day for about 3hrs to push some poop to the other side of the tank for easier vac cleaning
