I have a 6" Pixie Frog and I'm thinking of trying to get to 7"-8" by winter. What would be the best diet for this? Is it possible? I just started feeding it mice (frozen) a couple of weeks ago. It gets fed once or twice a week. If it does get fed twice in a week, it's one mouse per week and then some crickets.

Agreed.
Don't power feed for the sake of it or for selfish reasons.

Just out of curiosity (and since I cant find it anywhere online) does anyone know the average growth rate of these guys?

I wouldnt do it.Its like ppl with roids,I think certain things can develop faster than others and toss off the growth balance.Pluss he might get pimples and shriveled up you know whats.Nah,I dont know everything about frogs but like anything else in its first growing stages I would just keep it healthy and steady. You dont want him obese and then end up on insulin shots every day because all he wants is slurpies and twinkies.

stay away from power feeding, it could lead to further issues in the future.

Ok...sounds reasonable. :) So I guess my next question would be, how's it's feeding regimen? Is it ok, or should I be feeding more or less? Besides Crickets, worms, and mice...is there anything it can or should eat?
