Hello all,
I am considering purchasing a power filter for convenience reasons, obviously. I currently have a 120 gal. tank, however i noticed most power filters only support up to 80 gal. does anyone know of a power filter company that would be efficient enough for my tank size? or is it possible to utilize 2 power filters (ie: two 80 gal power filters=support for up to 160 gal?) Thanks for the help.

just get two ac110 depending on what your stock is

with only one arro, 2 aquaclear 110's will do the trick if their the only source of filtration. if you have another filter on the tank, one ac110 will be fine loaded with bio-media.

yeah but dont use carbon...get lots of bio..mayeb even some pot scrubbies squished in there

alot of people on MFK only use carbon for removing medications and the like. while it is helpful, if its not changed often enough, it can leech the very contaminents back into the water it removed in the first place.

loading your filter with nothing but a sponge and plenty of bio-media is much more effective in many peoples opinion.
