hey i am new to this but i have a 4ft tank set up in my room as my brother brought a 6ft one. i have no filters but a aqua one 400l/h and a eheim filter that i dont know about. the eheim was brought when a sea horse farm sold up in my town and we brought some equipment and the tank. could aanyone help me out with what filtration would be good?? i know a canister would be exellent any suggestions???

why not run them both? overfiltering a tank will be the last of your worries. if you're asking about a filter for the new, bigger tank then a nice big DIY sump would be cheapest and work great.

yeah i am. i gotta go get a canister filter i rekon for the 4ft what does anyone suggest i get that is cheap but will do a awsome job?

rather than buy yourself a new canister just make a sump, you'll have even better filtration capacities and it'll cost about the same or less.

a four foot tank does not need a canister. By 4 foot im thinking you mean a 55 gallon...this can easily be filtered by one AC110 or overfiltered (in a good way) with two of them. Then you dont have to mess with and hide a canister.
