power head question

Just received new Aquaclear 901/110 power head today for my mini pond.
the current seems very strong, is it ok to use this power head with caribes?
the tank size is 44"x45"21". or I should use something weaker?
I picked the power head to match the amount of water in my tank but didn't know it's that powerful.

I have a HK4 in my 55 gallon on a timer for my rhom. That puts out 1200 gallons per hour (supposedly) and he absolutely loves it.

as long as you can set it up so that theres at least some calmer areas in the water.,., the fish will go where the feel comfortable.,., my ps love my power head,., i use a Koralia 3 on my 75.,,., rated at 850 gph

Thanks guys. Right now I have the direction of current going around my tank so the center area should be relatively calm.
