Power Head Suggestions

Hey monster fish keepers what type of power heads or water movement devices do you lke best? I have a 72 bow and am currently running an old 402 (that I do not like) from my fresh water days. I was thinking about picking up a small Seio pump. Any good.

Hey dude,
Go out and buy some maxi jet, or penguin powerheads. Both are made in America, and you should have no problem getting 14+ yrs out of them.
 
MJ 1200 would be the most economical. Great little power heads. And if you want a ton more flow out of them they can be modified to run like a Tunze. Not sure how much flow you want, but this is surely a viable option.

I personaly run all Tunze powerheads in my systems, but they are a bit pricey!

seio' powerhead should be good , top end powerheads , look around ... brands like Rio,ehiem and aquarunner. currently i am using via aqua 3600 , well its works for me.:)
 
Howdy,

I have an AquaClear 70 from Hagen. It's only been in operation for a couple of months, though. So far, I am happy with its performance. It has a throttle to adjust the output and the direction of stream can be adjusted horizontally.
