Power Heads

I have a 100 gal tank with 4 polys an angelfish 2 BGJDs a ropefish a royal pleco a swamp eel and a BKG fish. There is alot of waste I do a 50% water change and vacuming twice a week. I want to put s power head in by the rocks to flush out the waste so the filters can grab it and I can vacum it . Do you think thats ok I dont want to stress the fish with the . extra current do you think they will be ok with that. Thanks

A gentle current will be enough to flush things, and shouldn't bother fish all that much.

Angelfish are a bit more delicate so I think if the current is not so powerful as there are many different power levels

i have a powerhead on my 210 to move the waste out and to one of the intakes.the one i use is 1400 gph so i run it about 20 min everyother day or it will stress my BGK.it works well for my tank but if your wanting it to run 24/7 i would go with one 500 to 700 gph.
