Why did the video check out the lady holding the shoes at the end? it seems the only thing to make it worth watching.
 
I guess someone decided to help Nike out and come up with a power lacing system for the back to the future kicks that were sold for Charity...
 
That's pretty awesome when you think about it... Almost everything we do now on a daily basis involves electronics to some extent (optionally, of course). Electric razors, toothbrushes, etc. But never shoe laces...?

I'd imagine it would be great for the elderly and disabled as well.

Would I get some? Probably not, I'm old school like that (for the most part... Love my iPhone).
 
I don't even tie my shoes...I just slip them on and off, but I just thought it was neat that someone was able to engineer something like that.

+1, i haven't tied a shoe in years.

as previously mentioned, this is great for the elderly and handicap
 
all my shoes with laces are tied loose enough so i can slip in and out of them and tight enough to not slip off my feet when i walk

i like this idea better
