Got hit by a power outage. My tank went 60 hours without heat or filtration. Luckily, no casualties- all my fish seem FINE, except my arowana. Both his eyes are now super murky/cloudy, and his body looks like there is dead skin coming off of it. Other than that, hes swimming normally and seems to be finne. Has anyone experienced an Arowana recovering from this before? Are his eyes going to clear up eventually?

did you not do any water changes during the outage??...what size tank and how many tankmates are there??...what kind of aro do you have and what size is it...if you continue to keep water parameters in top condition cloudy eye should heal in time...try turning temps up a bit and add acquarium salt..

Cloudy eye issues are usually caused by water pollution. Just keep water clean, increase temp a bit and add salt as other member suggested, it should be good soon.

One way to save fishes is to change water . This adds oxygen and also reduces toxin buildup. Also, always advisable to have atleast one battery operated air pump, just in case of emergencies like these. The fishes are much more valuable then spending a small amount on the pump.
