hi i have a 125 gallon, im currently running a fluval 405 till i get a new fx5. i want to get a powerhead to help with flow for now, what powerhead do you guys recommend lmk thanks

If you just want a temporary pump, get a maxi jet.
I think it will be more universal than the koralias because you can use it for a number of things.
one thing i also learned is buying power heads by the gallons per hour rating is tricky. you will want to get a lower rating for freshwater tanks depending on the fish you have.

E-bay has several Koralia knockoffs. MUCH cheaper. They look identical, so are likely made in the same factory.
Go with either the Aqueon circulation pumps or if you want a powerhead/pump combo the new Marineland Maxijets are pretty nice.
Do you guys own any koralias? They pump a ton of water with REALLY low wattage. I have a 1400 on my 125 and it's great.
I have used them when they first came out. They are wonderful circulation pumps but thats all they really can do. I was personally suggesting a maxi jet because he can upgrade it to run like a koralia or attach a prefilter to it and use it as a water buffer.
