I just picked up two koralia 6 pumps for my 120. Where should I put them? I'm thinking that I should put them in on the back of the tank, one on each side facing the front corners. I'm just not sure if they should face diagonaly across the tank. is there a better way to do this? It is a 4x2x2.

if you want a laminar flow you can put them side by side. if you want a random flow place them on oppisite walls aiming at each other. its best to aim one more towards the surface for oxygenation and the other one towards the middle of the tank. for flow. remember that the return hose for your sump or your canister filter also provide a good current.

Glad to have read this... I have one in my 90 gallon, been thinking of another, now I will get one for sure.
I set them up. One in each of the back corners facing each. It is having the desired affect (water swirls in a random pattern).
