Powerhead question!

Hey guys,


I am trying to purchase a powerhead for my new 210 gallon glass tank. What do you guys recommmend the preferred gph flow would be sufficient for it? BTW, what maker is known for its quality and low noise? Thanks for the help!

I prefer the Koralia hydor or evolution. Quiet and good looking. As far as gph it depends on what your stocking plans are. If you have fish that like the current, the higher the better.

I got one of those wave makers for 16.85 on ebay - 800 gph (prob exaggerated a lil) pretty quiet and has a nice flow they have more powerful ones - not bad if your on a budget

this is the one i have - if you search for wavemaker you see see alot of them you have a 210 so you may want one of the more powerful ones - at least worth checking out for the price of them compared to the ones i see a my local fish store which are around $50 for one half as powerful

Mp40 will be able to do 1000-3500 gph... If you want more flow mp60 will do 3500-7500gph.
