I have been thinking about adding a powerhead to my solo RBP in 240L and i dont think my cannisterpump make enough current since i got a twice as big an aquarium, does current promote growth ?

Yes, current makes your fish work out constantly, and it will eat more and grow quicker.

Yes a ph or circulator will definitely speed up metabolism, entertain your fish and keep your tank cleaner. Plus I mounted mine low so when I do wc it is still circulating water with the filter off, that way the new water/dechlor mixes faster.

that's apprx 51 gallons, 1500gph is pushing it, you don't want to turn your tank into a whirlpool lol
