I want to put 2 powerheads inside this tank near the bottom to help push debris around and keep it from settling before it can reach the filter. I've been looking at Hagen Aquaclear 50's and 75's (cause I want 2). because I will not have a UG filter, I'm not sure how to choose the best flow rate to apply here? Any ideas? Should I go big or would the added current stress my fish (JD, GT, Salvini, firemouth)

Thanks to all!:headbang2

I put 2 powerheads in my 90g as well. I use the Maxi-Jet powerheads 400,
600 and 900. I put 2 400's in the 90g, and the fish love it. That is my community tank which houses a few midas grow- outs, a butti, 3 male cons, dovii(females) and a pleco. :headbang2

Running 2 AC110's right now. Very pleased with them so far. Thought I'd go with the AC 50 powerhead as wel. ordered one yesterday but might grab a second one. Should I get a bigger one? Lots of water to move in this sucker!!

Just ordered a "Power Sweep 228" from Drs Foster & Smith web site. The power head actually sweeps side to side for added surface agitation. Figured I'll put it in the middle between the two filters, and put the other powerhead (AC 50 i think) in the bottom 1/2 of the tank if I can

Guess I'm all set. Thanks to all for the info!
