how do they work do i need anything else to run them, like an air pump or anything? (sorry ive never used a powerhead b4)

you can hook them up to an air pump to get water moverment and air at the same time but no need.....i live in ma if you give me you zip and how many you want i can give you a quote

Just plug it in...great for disturbing the surface of the water.
