ppbass not eating

i just purchased about a 3 in bass from my lfs twoo dfays ago. hes in a 55g rite now with a couple 4 in catfish. i had a few danios in there and i believe he ate a few b/c they disappeared however i never saw him eat them. the guy from the store said they were feeding him pellets. my question is what is the best food i can feed a growing fish and if hes only showing interest for the feeders how should i go about feeding other types of food? thanks for the help

theres acctually a thread here on how to convert them to pellets and i dont think you should give it 24/7 hours access to feeders he might get spoiled i got mines 2 days ago to i got 4 and their eating like crazy

yeh they were in the tank before i got him, now that the light is off though he's definetely going for the danios so once those are finished off i will try to convert foods.

id keep him on feeders till he hits 7-8" then try to convert of live food.. also keep them high and the oxygen too.. what type of cat is he in the 55 with? you should also buy more bass, they do better in groups
