they woulda prolly wieghed more if they had eatin in the last three weeks...lol...really warm water and not enough food in the pond they where trapped in so they got skinny. i released them in the river to my right, pond was on my left.

Great pics!!! Glad you put em on the otherside so they can maybe get some food. I love bass!!

the pond was only like 2ft deep and around 90 deg. when it starts raining again and the river rises they can get back in the pond if they want. but i know i woulda felt bad if i didnt at least give then a chance in the river. its actually a marina and the river is infront of me....lol..kinda hard to picture. theres a highway in front of me that runs along the river, then to my right it passes over it and on one side is the marina and the river on the other. then to my left (where i caught the bass) theres a small catch pond that was drying up. it was only like 60ft x 30ft by maybe 3ft max. the road behind me is a driveway coming off the highway.

whole dead shad hooked through the eyes and worked like a jig. i had two plastid beads on there cause i was also using night crawler and the beads give it extra casting weight but dont make the worm sink any faster than normal.
