i've had my clown in a 135gallon with a texas cichlid for quite a while. the cichlid has killed a huge pleco, and an oscar, but if he charged at the clown, the clown would charge back, and he would back into a pipe. after the two nipping at each other for years, it looks as though the cichlid won/lost. i took him out and sold him back to my lfs, leaving the clown alone in there. it looks as though, in them midst of all thier chasing each other around, the clown hit scraped the front of his face pretty good. he hasn't eaten anything in almost three weeks, but he's still swimming around like normal. before he decided to quit eating, he was getting about 6 or 7 jumbo krill 3x a week. i've seen him go weeks before without eating and be fine due to the food he stored instead of burned. as the time goes on this time, however, i'm starting to get scared. usually his draughts don't last this long. i even put goldfish in there, i was so desperate (weened him off goldfish and onto jumbo krill, due to what goldfish were bringing into the tank), they have since died and floated up, aside from one still living. the last one swims directly in front of him, and the knife doesn't even bother to go for the goldfish, even having the goldfish on occassion bump directly into him. i guess all i can do is wait and hope for the best.
Good you have movement. No major injuries. Wait a day or so & soak the krill in garlic. (
