Yes you can.

Generally safe but I have had females go flat when dosing meds like prazi, or moving females around. I always try to warn people of that.

Interesting mate, I have never had this but I have when I used salt once. A gravid looking female appeared to go flat after treatment. I have never used salt again since.

Sometimes anything can upset the balance it seems.

No pictures needed. It means the mom aborts the pups, and loses her baby bumps. If not too far along she will just absorb the dead pups. In certain cases if they are much further along and female is stressed enough she will just abort them and prematurely eject them alive. A type of fight or flight responce.
