pre filter filler

having problems with gas in my cold water i came up with a pre filter to help break down the chlorine ,choramine,toxic metals and gas i took a flow thru filter used the carbon insert and have another micro flilter wich i'm adding for my next fill it worked great i have no gas bubbles in my tank at all and the fill time was only a fraction slower it connects to a python the parts are available at the lfs i also hope less declorinater will be needed i have yet to test the water any ways i hope this is of some use to you guys in the city or well water users to preclean your water

thx do it your fish will thank you have ever noticed the clarity of filtered water as opossed to straight out of the tap

what are the brand and part # on the pre filter and the micro filter you going to use?

its from a coral life ro unit but you can get the peices seprate or go to home depot and get the parts for an under sink water purifier system same thing and cheaper pool shops carry some stuff just not sure about the cartridges the connectors are python replacement parts

im looking at getting another tank just tested my water its all screw up was just look fopr ways to clean it thanks for the info

i was going to do something like that you can get those ro at homedepot but i think im going to big als and get the twister first before i start that project...smart thing to do...
