Just an FYI, those are not Polypterus congicus. They are Polypterus bichir "Nigeria" (Nigerian Lapradei).

those aren’t congicus. Those are lapradei. Supplier/ fishermen from time to time do miss label fish

African fish suppliers have been notorious for mislabeling their Polypterus. You would think after 20+ years, they would know the difference.
