Pre-Settlement Tank for 850 Gallon

Any experience or opinion on using a pre-settlement tank for my next build? I am looking at this in addition to a 22" Wlim Bio glass filter for the biological filtration. My tank is 850 gallons 10' X 4' footprint so I also have to consider a good flow throughout the tank. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Same footprint, but only 750 gallons......

I use a pair of plastic 55 gallon drums as redial flow separators. Having very good results.

Thanks but I have the tank already. I have had it about 6 months just sitting around waiting for my Cichla to grow into it. The Spring is here & they are approaching 18" so it's time to get movin'!:
