my discus recently got constipation from too much protein(earthworms, bloodworms), anyone here presoak their tetra color bits? they dont expand that much do they?

Presoaking still removes the vitamins as vitamins are water soluble. I'd just switch to Hikari, Omega, Dainichi or NLS. Never been a fan of Tetra products as they're mostly starch.

I used to use tetra prima aka tetra diskus in europe. although i got good growth and colour i found they broke up easily and quite quickly messing the water quickly. it was also very crumbly when dry and i lost a lot due to it going to a fine powder from little movement in the box.
i now use hikari cichlid gold and its a much better product, no crumbling in the box and no breaking up in the water into bits unless my fish do it. even then the bits that break off are still big enough for my fish to eat. all round a better pellet.
