Ok so I'm about to pick up a 4ft long driftwood. The seller said he use it in his aquarium. Should I still boil it., wash it etc

I took a piece out of one of my aquariums and it sat for a while..didn't clean it very well and put it in a different tank and a while ago I noticed a little bacterial bloom on it...my suggestion would be to scrub it under hot water in ur shower (put some type of screen over the drain) and then pour some boiling water over it

Wow nice piece!!! Be careful with it. coming from someone elses tank it could have bacteria or parasites stil lying dormant on it!! I would definately give it a good clean before adding it. It can't hurt. And how big is the tank you're putting it in??? Love to see it once it's in it's a beautiful piece!!!!

I would jus spray it off with the hottest watter your shower can spray for like 10min... Thats what i did.... I got my friends pieve that he had in his snake cage.
